Twitter has not re-activated my account. Nor have I received any further correspondence from the company since the initial email notifying me of suspension, which I believe to be without cause.

the official greenpress twitter account said “hi” to me today. see for yourself here. i’ve also been added to the founding bloggers page here. i feel honored… and well, a bit like sally field in her award acceptance speech “you like me… you really like me…”
i suppose what makes me and this blog green is my desire to create crafty goodness out of items i already own – doing my part to reduce. reuse. recycle. repurpose. – and create a bit of green for my pocketbook by selling these items in my etsy shop.

nope, not this one. this space is still so new and pretty but this other blog i have… well, it needs lots of tender loving care. mainly in the form of deleting/marking as spam comments that make absolutely no sense in addition to mentioning all sorts of pain medications by name. crazy.
in other news, i had anticipated participating in the annual july blogathon, which requires posting every thirty minutes for twenty-four hours. i have decided to opt out of this venture this year. i do have a tshirt tote (listed on etsy) that i made from the tshirt i purchased for the 2007 blogathon.

i downloaded bunches of fonts earlier today (see previous post for details) and spent most of my afternoon crafting a nifty header for this blog/site. i used a phrase that i found today on shabby blogs (though i have lived by this mantra for quite some time now) and two different fonts. one was already on this computer while the other was just found today.

i am using valuable mafia wars playing time to update the look of this brand spankin’ new blog.
after volunteering at the library this morning, i scoped out the local tanning spot and signed up for a month’s membership. now before i get a bunch of negative talk going, i am well aware of the risks and i am thirty six years old thank you very much. i believe that i can make my own decisions. daughter dearest waited in the lobby and read the sixth harry potter book (again) in anticipation of seeing the movie tomorrow.

i just looked at the blog’s front page and goodness gracious sakes alive… as soon as i have a bit of time today, i am totally doing a blog overhaul. it is absolutely atrocious.
